Who are we?
Welcome to the Takemusu Aikido Dojo Israel website, home of the Takemusu Aikido Association Israel and member of the Takemusu Aikido Kyokai.
Heading this dojo is Dr. Lyor Gotloib (2nd Dan Taijutsu 3rd Dan Bukiwaza).
Lyor is the representative of the takemusu aikido kyokai in Israel.
As members of the Takemusu Aikido Kyokai we continue to learn and preserve the teachings of Morihiro
Saito Shihan(9th Dan 5th Dan Bukiwaza).
We also remain, as asked by Morihiro Saito Shihan, faithful to the
Ueshiba family and the
Aikikai foundation.

There
are
a
great
many dojos in Israel and many good teachers practicing different styles.
Every
style reflects a different aspect of the development of Aikido.
We
hope that we can all work together and learn from one another, everyone
has a lot to teach and one never ceases to learn, so we invite you all to join
us and train together and learn this beautiful art that is much more than just
a martial art, it's a way of life.
